This is an oath to be taken by stakeholders in an as yet unnamed reactionary institution (here denoted Occidental Foundation) dedicated to the rejuvenation, preservation, and flourishing of traditional western culture among western (or westernized) peoples. By extension such a foundation would be opposed to progressive principles, and resistant by design and purpose to progressive memes and methods. It is, for now, more about content of character than content of platform. It remains a work in progress.
-
THE OATH OF FRATERNITY As a Member of Rank of the Occidental Foundation, I forever swear loyalty to my Band of Brothers—those who have bound their fortunes and fates with my own in the cause of turning back revolutions, and restoring order and health to our societies. I promise:
-
To never reveal, more than is publicly and easily known, even under duress or penalty of law, identifying information about my Brothers, their movements, locations, intentions, orders, or plans
-
To recognize and honor those who outrank me; to look out for the long-term interests of, and serve faithfully, those who have been placed under my direction
-
To reserve the bulk of my loyalty for my kin, my thede, and those nearest to me; to identify leapfrogging loyalties as a psychological pathology, and to work to eliminate this disposition in myself
-
To bear no special malice or animosity to members of other thedes; to avoid, where possible, mutually interfering in the internal affairs of other thedes; and when mutual non-interference is not possible, to negotiate in good faith for peaceful separation.
-
-
THE OATH OF FAMILY As a Member of Rank of the Occidental Foundation, I dedicate myself to the prospect of future generations and the general well-being of the society and world they shall inherit. I promise:
-
In no wise to oppose and, wherever possible, to publicly support, defend, foster, and participate, in traditional (i.e., monogamous, life-long, opposite sex, open to childbearing) marriage
-
In no wise to oppose and, wherever possible, to publicly support and defend sex differences and roles; to recognize and honor femininity in women and masculinity in men; to endeavor to excel at traditionally masculine virtue
-
If I am blessed with a wife, to love her, to keep myself to her, to lead and when necessary to correct her with appropriate gentleness, and in all ways to assist her to achieve what is highest and best for her
-
If I am blessed with children, to provide for them, to protect them, to train them to identify and reject Progressivism in all its deceitful forms, and in all ways help to them to achieve a virtuous and purposeful life
-
-
THE OATH OF COMMUNITY As a Member of Rank of the Occidental Foundation, I swear to in all ways conduct my life publicly as an exemplary model for those of similar abilities and status who will come after me. I promise:
-
To act locally to improve the safety, order, and quality of my own home and local community, and to concern myself little or not at all for areas remote or little known to me
-
To publicly respect, advocate, and express gratitude for hard work as a good in itself, and fitting for all capable men; if I am so blessed to avoid hard physical or very dull labor, to be especially gracious and supportive to those who are not
-
In no wise to oppose, but to publicly respect, foster, and, where possible, participate in natural and traditional hierarchies and, where possible, advocate against technocratic or bureaucratic forces that weaken them
-
In no wise to oppose, and wherever possible, to publicly advocate patriarchy, i.e., the rule by fathers over their natural domains, and work for the overturn of all laws and customs which in any way weaken it
-
To recognize and respect the vaunted role of Christianity in building Western Societies and in no wise oppose its authentic practice
-
-
THE OATH OF HUMILITY As a Member of Rank of the Occidental Foundation, I shall recognize the temptation to blame my own faults on others and to eschew ever doing so; to own up to my failings, refuse to make them into false virtues, and seek to improve myself toward conformity to the ideals of my thede. I promise:
-
To tend principally to my own business; to avoid prying overly much; to respect the reasonable wishes of privacy in others; to eschew gossip and call it out, when appropriate, in my brothers
-
To look on the bright side of things where possible; to encourage the down-hearted; to help to redeem what remains yet redeemable; to give a kick in the pants to those whom it would help
-
To fight honestly and with integrity, whether in an argument, online or in person, or in a physical altercation; to avoid unnecessary or ill-advised conflict; to try to use only as much force as necessary to win any conflict
-
To recognize envy in myself, to try to suppress it, and definitely to avoid expressing it, to admit my faults and imperfections, and to age slowly but gracefully
-
