Steve Salier at Taki’s on the UVA Rape Fantasy Case Hoax. Responsible publications like Rolling Stone are above Clickbait Journalism, right? Might as well as be above the Law of Gravity, today.
Theden covers the murder of Zemir Begic by feral vibrants. Of interest is the increasing implausibility of the media’s substitution of words: “teen” for “black”, “Bosnian” for “white”, and “random” for “targeted because white”. The probability of race not being a factor in this horrific crime is about the same as tossing a handful of quarters in the air and having them all land on edge. Amazing how often that happens when the Western Media get their hands on a story.
Reactionary Tree talks about the Only Way Going Forward—i.e., divestiture of the American Empire by secession. I don’t know if it’s the only way, but it surely is the most bloodless way.
Audacious Epigone eloquently states what must be said of A Tale of Two Tragedies.
Jim talks about heroic entrepreneurship after the (Stuart) restoration; also We’re Number Two!!
Over at the Orthosphere, Bonald exposes the horns of a perfect dilemma in A Perfect Language (cross-posted to his own place).
SOCIAL MATTER
It was media/#Ferguson week at Social Matter this week.
On Monday, Bryce brings us: White Unflight and the Naked Might of Media:
With Ferguson, we witness the naked might of media. The interests of the press are ensconced in a virtually unassailable moral framework that gives the upper hand to the media incumbents in almost every case. Suggesting that there might be a conflict of interest between an orderly society and the status profit of journalists is taboo. Yet a peaceful and orderly society does not drive news ratings. If there is no penalty for lying in order to create chaos, should we be surprised to see a media egging on violence?
Tuesday, Henry delivers The Moral Outrage of ‘Police Militarization’ Can’t Be Resolved. Truly it seems English common law tradition has never been more popular, nor its eponym so widely misidentified.
Wednesday, Hadley says: Robocops Won’t Save You From The Progressive Media. Well… unless we can figure out a way to sic them on progressive media. Indeed, robocops, being blind to disparate outcomes, will be far more “racist” than the current batch of cross-burning white nationalist human cops could ever dream.
John Glanton uses his Thursday space to weave Darren Wilson: Cautionary Tale. A couples of cautions really: 1) Not only did Officer Darren Wilson not do anything wrong, it would appear after the release of Grand Jury evidence, that he behaved in an exemplary fashion. Yet his life is still quite uprooted and will be presumably for decades. Is that the kind of message we want to send to police officers: Do everything right and you’ll still get punished? 2) The news media who saw to the ruination of Officer Wilson’s life, do we really want these bozos setting, by way of their bully pulpit, police procedure?
And rounding out the week (alas! breaking the #Ferguson Week pattern) is Ash Milton’s Pope Reincarnate, in which parallels are drawn between two would-be reform popes.
DAMPIER
This week, Henry talks about the Democratic Careerist. He paints a picture of work culture not unlike that found in many unions, but with fewer work rules, lower pay plus benefits, and less cigarette smoke.
Next… Mass Androgyny and World War T. Whenever the media devote this much attention to this small of a minority group, look behind to see what they’re hiding.
The dirty little secret about the Outer Right Coalition is that there is no Outer Right Coalition:
To form a useful coalition, each of its members has to be willing to put aside some of their pet issues for some time, at least in the particular context of presenting a united front on a single issue, even if it’s temporary.
You’d think that would be easier on the dissident right than not, being, as it is, fully barred from any practical influence of power. But a disposition resistant to compromise, or being seen to compromise, principles is what tends to put someone on the dissident right in the first place. In a very real sense, the dissident right self-selects out of its own population some of the psychological traits it most needs.
If voting is to power as porn is to sex, then if you want people not to vote, Henry suggests in Disrupting Electioneering give people a way to exercise actual power, say by finding ways to work around obstacles or take control of some aspect of their lives. And even if it doesn’t keep them from voting, you’ve still made the world a better place.
Finally, Henry has some tips on How to Shift Public Opinion having to do with a long enough lever and some place to stand.

Need more proof that all slippery slope arguments should by now be deemed true, prima facie? From SoBL, we have Tales from Weimerica: Bestiality Can be Romantic. He also points out a new weapon for men in child custody battles: Go Gay.
In Tamir Rice Reveals the Artificiality of Ferguson Outrage, SoBL outlines just how hard the Media Industrial Complex had to work to incite a riot in Ferguson. One takes some comfort that widespread desensitization to their stimulants has kicked in. But their territory has expanded, and an army of purveyors of so-called “Social Justice” stands at every street corner giving away samples for free. “Media Free School Zones” anyone?
SoBL sheds some light on his role as a confidential informant on porn. He concludes with wise words: “Do your brain a favor. Walk away.” And this, late breaking, an appeal to readers’ memories: Is the progressive narrative ever true?

Darwinian Reactionary Empedocles constructs a primer: The Dark Enlightenment for Newbies.
Mark Yuray says Humanity is in the Details.
If the first casualty of war is truth, the first casualty of economics is humanity. In the modern drive for efficiency, equality and uniformity, human refinement is the first thing to be shaved off.
That’s all I had time for. I’m certain I’ve missed something of importance. Please let me know all my failings in the comments. This a hard sphere to watch and upon which to commentate. Best wishes for the 2nd week of Advent. Til next time, Keep on Reactin! TRP, over and out.
